Anyone ever go there?
I’ve been sick since last Friday, but the Friday before that I took a trip with my girlfriend and her kids through Batavia to Buffalo, then to Rochester, then to Syracuse. While in Rochester, we went to the Museum of Play for two days because we only got to maybe half the stuff the first day. I ended up getting us all a year-long family pass as it was cheaper than buying two full days for four admissions.
The first floor has a lot activities for kids to play in, as well as a Superhero “hall” with some comic stuff and a “women of gaming” exhibit, amongst others. The second floor has more of a “museum” aspect to it with toys from different generations, a whole section devoted to gaming and an arcade with several cabinets you can play for 5 tokens per dollar. I spent most of day 1 downstairs and much of day 2 upstairs.
Anyway… day 1, I took my camera with me. Here’s some of the stuff I encountered…
